The project will collect additional geological data to support the ongoing studies. The works tendered covers;
RC drilling for the coal limits, and fault detection. The diamond drilling to collect geotechnical data and further define faults.
Only contractors and service providers who can demonstrate the following are invited to tender:
· Companies who have extensive mine site drilling experience in RC, diamond drilling and geotechnical diamond drilling
· The company must have 100% citizen ownership.
· Valid and current BURS tax clearance certificate.
· This tender is open to all qualifying companies irrespective of registration on MCM Database or not
Tender documents will be shared with the Tenderer upon receiving proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of BWP250.00 for each tender only on or before 28 July 2023 – 16:00hrs.

Site Visit
The site visit shall take place on 31 July 2023 at 0900 hours. It is a pre-requisite that bidders attend a site visit in order to familiarize themselves with the site, the scope of the services. Representatives attending the site visit are required to arrange their own transport, accommodation and protective clothing, i.e. hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, reflective vest, trousers and long sleeved shirts).

The closing date for the receipt of tender submissions shall be 18 August 2023 at 12:00 noon. Tenders received after the closing date and time will not be considered.
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile or emailed submissions will also not be considered. Morupule Coal Mine reserves the right to reject or accept any submission and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any portion of any tender. Acceptance thereof is not binding on the company until confirmed through official notification. The services pertaining to this tender shall be run under Morupule Coal Mine General Conditions of Service, details of which are in the tender documents.
